Whoop whoop! So I decided that since I rarely write journals I would keep a rolling anime recommendation journal. I will list some of mt favorite series in my ridiculous amounts of anime watching. I will only list anime that have currently ended their season run and also list where to watch them legally and in most cases for free. 

Beware I'm bad at descriptions so they will be lacking.

Hidden Jems

(For anime that might have gone unnoticed.)

• Arakawa Under the Bridge
  
• 26 Episodes
• Arakawa Under the Bridge is a wacky anime but it becomes more meaningful if you watch with the understanding that these are actually people that are suffering from mental illness and anxieties. It is pretty SFW.
  
  
• Engaged to the Unidentified
  
• 12 Episodes
• It sets itself up to be a silly "arranged marriage" slice of life anime, but it's really cute and touching and comes with a surprise twist. Not at all deep but very fun. Mostly SFW.
  
  
• Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet
• 13 Episodes
• I'm not sure what to say about this one without giving things away. We'll just say it's an exploration of multiple ideals. SFW
  
  
• Nagi no Asukara
  
• 26 Episodes
• Romance anime with a mythical element. It's so syrupy cute you might die. Mostly SFW
• Shin Sekai Yori
  
• 25 Episodes
• Don't want to give too much away. Its a "what if" scenario for if humans stared developing psychic abilities. Some blood and disturbing imagery so NSFW.

(For anime that has not reached the hype train but deserves to have recognition.)

• Angel Beats
• 13 Episodes
• Angel Beats is a fun and touching anime. It's SFW so most can enjoy it.
  
  
• Kimi ni Todoke
• 37 Episodes
• I will admit to not finishing this one yet due to the overwhelming amount of feels that this show makes me feel. It is an amazing show that pretty much leaves me crying every episode. We once made the mistake of watching with four ladies in the room. The amount of feels mixed with the high amounts of estrogen equated to an all out bawl fest. We have yet to recover. Very SFW. 
  
  
• Beyond the Boundry
  
• 12 Episodes
• What I find most intriguing about this anime is the balance between the characters relationships. (You'll see if you watch ) It's a fun anime but can quickly become serious. I will however admit to not liking the ending much but still a really good watch. Mostly SFW, but well... Blood sword.

• 12 Episodes
• I can't say much without spoilers, but I believe that even if you aren't a fan of the magical girl genre you will like this one. Mostly SFW
  
  
• Samurai Flamenco
  
• 22 Episodes
• Another that I can't say much without spoiling the fun. This is a fun anime with great characters. SFW
  
  
• Servant X Service
  
• 13 Episodes
• This is a hilarious office slice of life anime. The characters are so fun. Its not deep but worth watching. Mostly SFW.
  
  

All Aboard the Hype Train

(For anime that has reached super popularity and deserves the hype.)

• 25 Episodes
• It's weird to think that an anime about giant people eating humanity would be so good, but this one deserves the hype. It has great character with very real flaws and allows for amazing character development. It may not be known for its politics, but when you think about it the politics of the world is very interesting. Gunna say NSFW since its got naked humans and blood. Oh the blood. 
  
  
• Kill La Kill
  
• 24 Episodes
• I'm gunna say this upfront, Kill La Kill is NSFW. Like really really REALLY NSFW. You got nudity, violence, blood... so much blood. It outwardly seems like crack but it has a very interesting message. Nemi and myself will eventually be doing a write-up on the series. 

I'm still compiling the list, but I am also open to suggestions of what to watch. Please limit suggestions to thing I can watch from legal sources. Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll , etc.

This character doesn't seem to have a name but I love his design. His ears looks so cool and fluffy. I love his hair tied with all the bananas and adornments. The scar across his neck is a really nice touch. It makes me more interested in the character's story and past.

Her outfit is so elegant. I nice fusion of Indian and Greek fashion.

Angel bby got a visual upgrade since I saw her last. I love her new look; more conducive to kicking ass. Course I have this thing about half gloves... and belts. >,> ... and goggles...

Rein is sweet and kind. He lost his sister in the trek to one of the few floating cities, just as the world began to crumble. His deepest wish was to be able to fly so he could save other from suffering , a wish granted to him by the deity of grief.

ANGELUS
Angelus is the son of Raiden the Thunder God and Raiju the lightning demon, cursed by his mother to be a child forever so Raiden can never come to claim him when he reached adulthood. He is constantly with either Corvo or Rhies.

So to let you know where I have been....

Currently the JoAnns I'm working at is moving to a new location. I'm a part of the crew that gets to help close down the old location. Then they decided to take this opportunity to toss me into management. So between helping train the poor noobs that are stuck with me as their noobie manager, angry customers that want to shank me with knitting needles, crazy hours, and getting ready for a new convention this year; I'm a zombie.

That's pretty much the past few months in a nutshell.

1) I made a french silk pie out of Tofu and it was amazing.
2) Next Planned cosplay it Mami from Madoka
3) Next con is Anime Banzai. We have an art table
4) Legend of Korra was AMAZING!!
5) I hate that I cant draw anymore. T^T I suck.
